Media reports indicated that Nvidia’s high-end RTX 4090 graphics card outperformed its RTX 4080 counterpart in shipments and shipped 130,000 units since its launch, compared to only 30,000 units for the RTX 4080. The total is 160,000 graphics cards with the Ada Lovelace architecture that uses 4-nanometer manufacturing accuracy from Taiwanese TSMC. Perhaps one of the reasons for this superiority, regardless of the time difference in the date of issuance, is the closeness of the price this time between the two cards, unlike what was the case in previous generations, when the price of Class 80 cards did not exceed $700.
Regarding specifications, the RTX 4090 card includes 16,384 CUDA processors (compared to 10,496 CUDA processors for the last generation RTX 3090), comes with 24 GB of GDDR6X video memory at 21Gbps, and consumes 450 watts of electrical power. The price of the founder’s version reaches $ 1,600.
